About Dr. Krzysztof Kuciński


Krzysztof Kucinski studied Chemistry at Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznan (Poland), and performed his PhD with Prof. G. Hreczycho at the same institution (2018). After that, he initiated his research career in 2019 as the assistant professor.

During the studies he was an intern for eminent scientists as Professor Claudio Palomo (Universidad Del Pais Vasco San Sebastian, Spain) and Professor Lutz Ackermann (Post-doc Supervisor, Georg-August-Universität Göttingen, Germany).

His recent awards and distinctions include Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education Fellowship for best young scientists (2019), Polish Minister of Science and Higher Education Fellowship for best PhD students, twice: 2016 and 2017; START Scholarship For Best Young Researchers in Poland (2018), as well as the Bekker Fellowship (NAWA, 2019).

He is a co-author of several scientific papers (36), patents and patent applications. His main research concerns homogeneous catalysis, organoboron and organosilicon chemistry as well as sustainable and green processes.
